Dr. Harold Haak Award recipients are educators who demonstrate exemplary leadership in promoting business education partnerships.

Overview

The Dr. Harold Haak Award for Educational Excellence for Building Business/Education Partnerships is awarded for exemplary leadership to an educator who has promoted business education partnerships.

This award is named for Dr. Harold Haak in recognition of his long service to education and his service as the first Executive Director of The Fresno Compact.

2024 Dr. Harold Haak Award

The Fresno Compact is pleased to announce Fabrizio Lofaro, Superintendent of Valley ROP as this year’s esteemed award winner. We are thrilled to honor him at this year’s Business-Education Shareholders’ Luncheon where we will also honor this year’s Partnerships Awards winners.

Nominations

We encourage you to submit your nomination for an outstanding educator from your organization. Nominations for the 2025 Dr. Harold Haak Award will be available beginning June 1, 2024.

In order to qualify for this award, nominees must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Nominees must be an employee of your educational organization
  • Nominees must have a track record of outstanding performance in building business/education partnerships for your organization
