The Fresno Compact recognizes that businesspersons offer a unique perspective and can play a more active role in education. Since 1990, the Compact has been helping businesses and educational institutions partner to address challenges together.
Each month, local business leaders meet with administrators from Central, Fresno, Clovis and Sanger Unified School Districts, as well as Fresno County Office of Education, Fresno Area Strive, National University, State Center Community College District, Fresno Pacific University and California State University, Fresno. They engage in an open dialog about educational issues, programs and goals. The business leaders provide input to help educate students with the skills necessary to compete in local, regional and global employment markets.
Many schools still seek business partners. Any size business can be involved, the process is simple and the rewards are substantial. Get involved and help build a better, more vibrant Fresno.
